The City Is At War
Welcome to Ikebukuro, Tokyo: the setting of our wonderful role play, where the mysterious and wonderful happens every day. We are an Durarara!! role-play taking place in an alternate universe.
The city is always bustling with excitement - it is practically impossible to be bored here! As of recent years, the color gang wars have been eradicated by the police... or so they thought. After the disappearance of the Blue Squares and the Yellow Scarves, the Dollars stand as the only gang in reign all of Ikebukuro. They are an online colorless gang, whose name is derived from "dalla dalla" (meaning "useless" or "not doing anything"). Anyone could join by invitation. The members would be given a password used to enter the main site. They'd be known as "invisible", or "colorless". Everyone was loving the reaction this non-symbolic gang was getting. But not everyone was happy with their flock of sheep~
A group of vigilantes called the Dark Knights, dedicated to keeping gangs off the streets, enters the picture with intents on destroying the Dollars. These group of individuals detest the idea of any form of gang-related activity parading the streets of the city. Be it because they just didn’t like the idea or just didn’t like the people in the Dollars. Both are theories among the masses that hold true in at least one of the cases. These 'knights' in street clothes are not as chivalrous, or justice-driven as their name proclaims. They are ruthless, violent, and will use any means to bring down their enemies. Just as their name implies, their gang color is black. They are led by a mysterious figure that goes under the username: The Joker.
Not only must the Dollars defend against this new threat, but they must also confront the flames of old. Remnants of the old gangs still lurk within the shadows waiting for their chance to strike and earn their territory back. The city is about to be the battle grounds of gang war of immeasurable proportion! Who will win?More importantly, where do you stand?
And It's Playtime For The Young...
